Have a 1999 alero-driver side windo quit working --took panel off motor works but cant see how any thing hooks on windoe--2.4-olds alero

Check the fuses first, you may have shorted a wire.

Yes, could be a fuse, power windos switch go to bad, bad wires inside door or motor windows go to bad.

hi check the wiring between door and a pillar quite often you will find a break just follow the colours to see which ones they are

Get a chilton or repair manual

you may have a stripped drive gear on the electric window motor or the cable setup for the winder mechanism has failed

There are two screws at the bottom of door panel. The panel...pull from bottom first out toward you. work your way up the edges. When door panel is lose lift up and the top will come lose. The window regulator and motor are as one. Check fuse block under hood on driver side.

see if you have power switches . then try replaceing the driver side switch frist. if that duse not work then you will have to re place the windo motors.

the power window fuse, which is linked to several other systems, should be in the kick-panel fusebox on the driver's side. there should also be a circut breaker for the motors, probably behind. the glovebox
