I am stumped on this one, sorry. Dont really know what to even suggest. maybe a leaky capacitor somewhere in the video circuit, but you should be getting some type of distortion or interferance if that were the case. I would suggest checking the capacitors with an ESR meter thats the only way to pinpoint a bad capacitor in circuit.

Your set is definatly a 39 inch DLP set.anything to do with your color and or contrast will have to be traced to your color wheel or your signal processor chip. Is it still under warranty? The signal processor is not serviceable your color wheel is. Hope this helps.

What model set do you have? Do you have any stereo speakers near the tv?

  • Sonny Berry
    Sonny Berry Jan 10, 2008

They do but magnets from speakers can cause the purity to suffer try moving your speakers away from your set and see if this corrects your picture. Let me know if youre still having problems.

I cant find any info on your set not even from samsung, Are you positive its a HL C5666? They dont even recognize the model number on their support site. Double check the model number include any dashes or suffixes and prefixes.

I have Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Collection 14. When I try to render a 4 minute video random clips become jerky and unstable. I've tried to render on different sizes, different file types, different...

I don't know what you mean by 'when I try to render'...what are you doing?
Pinnacle 14 Ultimate Collection renders the clips you place on the time-line automatically, you just have to wait foreverrrr..
(If the bar above the clips on the timeline is light-green, it means the file isn't rendered yet. If the bar is orange, it is fully rendered. The light green bar will turn to dark green as Pinnacle renders the file, then change to orange when its done.
*Pinnacle can NOT render clips while you are playing your video.)
P.S Whenever you add a transition, effect, montage, title, or otherwise change ANYTHING about a clip/picture, pinnacle will take its sweet time rendering the ENTIRE clip/picture all over again...

Those are the symptoms when the power supply is giving up.
Unfortunately there are not many replacement service parts around to swap the power supply assembly, but It will need to be fix to the component level instead.
I service these power supplies.
Let me know if you need more assistance.

Sb-600 not beeping, images completely black (underexposed)

Series of images is the KEY. If the Power you set the SB-600 is HIGH it will take a LONGER time to recycle than the SB-800. If you try to take a photo before the SB-600 is ready you will get a dark image. The randomness you get is due to the time between shots. In general try to run remote flashes at a lower power so they recycle faster.

I like the SB-800 because it can take 5 cells. 5 cells can really make a difference in the recycle time (faster) The SB-600 only takes 4 cells so it is slower.

One of the pictures has a great blue sky but the green tree is very dark and the other one has the green tree and very bright sky?

The two pictures were shot at dramatically different exposures - the "dark" one at 1/1600 shutter speed, f7.3, the "light" one at 1/320 shutter speed, f4.0. This accounts for the great difference, as the exposure conditions for the "light" one allowed much more light into the image during the exposure period. You didn't tell the whole story of how you set this up, I think you were shooting in a "spot" metering mode, where the particular exposure conditions the camera uses would vary considerably whether you were aiming at a dark area (making the picture light) or a light area (making the picture dark). I would make two recommendations: Switch your metering mode to "center weighted" (the mode labeled "[(•)]"), and also change your ISO setting to AUTO, as there would be no reason for shooting these photos at ISO 200 that I can think of.
