Hey welcome to fixya. Hope u 'll be fine The 6500 error code is a logic board error code. The PCI Bus error is detected
by the ASCI. Sounds like it needs new logic board. Solution is first of
all you can try to reset your printer -
Turn the printer off with the Power button (if available).
Disconnect the data cable from the printer.
Unplug the printer's power cord for approximately 10 minutes,
and then plug it back in.
Turn the printer back on. If
this works you're done,
If it not works then try following
After confirming that the printer is powered on, open the
paper output tray.
Open the top cover and wait until the
print head moves to the center.
Open the inner cover and
check that ink tanks are properly seated.
Properly
seated
Press down on each ink tank until a click is
heard.
Close the inner cover and top cover
if reset method not works for you then you
go for the new logic board replacement

You can try and clear the error by holding down the power button and waiting for it to turn off then wait 30 seconds and turn it back on. {you might need to unplug it to get it to turn off}
or
Hold down the stop/reset and then push the power button while the printer is on. The printer should shut off then wait 30 seconds and then hold the stop/reset again and push the power button and the printer should turn on with the error cleared.
1. Switch off the printer. 2. Holding button STOP/RESET press the button ON/OFF. Do Not release the buttons. 3. Continuing hold the button ON/OFF release the button STOP/RESET. Do Not release ON/OFF. 4. Continuing hold the button ON/OFF press the button STOP/RESET 2 times and release all buttons. 5. HI Guys 6A00 error usually cant't be fixed according to the service centre, I was lucky and actually bought an extended warranty, the service centre said that the MP530 are a good printer and worth fixing as they don't see many at all compared to other models and other brands. There was a broken piece of hardware that something to do with the print carriage. cheers vailey
