It is an automatic height adjustment. What is the reason you feel the machine is not adjusting?

Height adjustment isn't working after belt was replaced by vacuum store. It's too high to brush the carpet. Help!!

when using the hoover it doesn't seem to adjust it's height automatically i have to either put some pressure on the front plate or turn brush off which sometimes seems to work, i have checked filters renewed both the handle hose and the hose under the plate as they both had holes in, but it still hasn't improved
