cb5547, Do you SEE the strange "no signal""no input" messages when other programs are running such as MSword, Excel, IE8, ? I would guess that when very strange things begin to occur "ON SCREEN" of an LCD display, that something might be about to go bad in the unit's power supply. In any case a technician should evaluate it for you. In the mean time hook_up (swap-in) a working monitor to prove that your PC is working correctly. report back here with a new comment on fixya and I will suggest a few things you can try. My monitor won't connect to my chassis. I run a 9600GTX which has always worked when connected to the monitor. For seemingly no reason the monitor no longer accepts its signal. I've tried alternating between both open ports on the card and from DVI and VGA, but nothing yields a result.
