Cant play folders i sent to my netbook on windows media player

you see i just got a netbook and it doesnt seem to have a cd player slot so i couldnt burn or rip any cds onto windows media player so i tried ending some music folders from my home computer and when i did i saved them on my netbook. when i tried to play them two strange things happend, the first i coldnt hear nothing and two something popped up whe i tried to play it on the windows media player it was a window saying a problem had accured wile it was playing the file i tried everything and need help quick for musics sake!!! plz help thank you.

hi there, for take musik from cd´s you need a "cd ripper". A cd ripper you can get here: (star burn)
http://www.rocketdivision.com/starburn.html

for ripping the music, choose "Grab Audio"

Be sure that the music is not DRM protected, If you have purchased the music then you have 50% chance that it is DRM protected, then you have to compy the license too.
