I have a Hamworthy/Bristol 3S10-50 scuba air compressor. It gets to 100bar and then the 3rd stage over pressure valve leaks. The over pressure valve is set to 1000psi.I have cleaned the 3rd stage suction/delivery valve as well as the 2nd stage suction and delivery valves with no joy.

Any idea where next?

well,fit a pressure gauge in the 3rd stage so that you can read at which pressure the over pressure valve is working,at the same times you will confirm if the over pressure valve is not faulty
