Question about Computers & Internet

Apparent conflict between my wireless adapter and RAM

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire M1100, (it comes with 2GB of RAM). I also purchased a ZONET ZEW1602 wireless card, and an additional 1GB of RAM, (the computer comes with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit installed). I installed the wireless adapter and booted up. Vista recognized the card and installed the Marvell Libertas adapter drivers. I then shut the computer down, installed the additional RAM and booted up again. Now the wireless card doesn't work. As soon as I removed the new RAM, the wireless card works fine. The computer works OK without the wireless card, and with the added RAM, (the computer recognizes the added RAM, and seems to run faster with it too.) How do I resolve this so that I can get both the RAM AND the wireless card working?

It should play video with 8 meg. The max memory is 12m but you have to take the whole laptop apart to increase it.

My Acer M1100 won't even power up, it was running when I went to sleep and it wasn't when I woke up. Any clue what went wrong?

remove the battery, unplug the ac adapter and press and hold the power button for about 15-20 sec to drain power. expect no response since we're just draining the power. then put back in the battery and ac, and try to turn pc on.

How to upgrade acer aspire m1100 ram

It is actually pretty simple, just remove either screws or fasteners holding the case on. On that model it may even just be the side panel, which would be 2 screws/fasteners. Here is a video that explains the process. http://videos.howstuffworks.com/howstuffworks/26-how-to-install-ram-to-a-desktop-computer-video.htm Thanks,
