My Mail opens up in a total different format. I don't know how to change bacck to what it was before. Nohing happens when I click on new or one of the folders. It opens up in a windodow but nothing shows up in the main paortion of the screen.

Yahoo! has recently made over its email client, Yahoo! Mail. The old standard Yahoo! Mail Classic look has been replaced with New Yahoo! Mail, which offers most of the same features but looks different and is organized differently. Yahoo! Mail users who don't like New Yahoo! Mail, or who simply like Yahoo! Mail Classic better, can switch back to the classic view easily.
Step 1. Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account
In your web browser, go to the Yahoo! Mail home page (http://mail.yahoo.com). Sign in to your account using your Yahoo! ID and password, then click the yellow Sign In button. Once you've successfully logged in, you'll see your email folders on the left and the What's New and Inbox tabs in the middle.
Step 2. Choose the Mail Classic option
On the upper right side of the page, there are three links -- Mobile, Options, and Help. Click Options, and when the drop down menu appears, choose "Mail Classic..."
Step 3.Confirm that you want to switch back
A dialog box will pop up with two choices -- Switch to Yahoo! Mail Classic and Cancel. If you're sure you want to switch, click the first option; otherwise, choose Cancel to keep the New Yahoo! Mail. (If you wish to provide feedback about Yahoo! Mail, you can click the feedback link in the dialog box, which will open up a new window.)
Depending on your computer's speed and your Internet connection, the switch may take several seconds. When it's completed, you'll be looking at the old familiar Yahoo! Mail Classic interface.

You will need to go to www.yahoo.com contact page [ look on the bottom of the opening page] and simply ask them to restore the account. Sometimes Yahoo messes up and can delete an entire account. It happens

Hello, you must mean the new yahoo mail. Please just follow these steps:

1. Sign into your account
2. Click compose message (under what's new), click attachments (under subject) and then click attach files
3. Browse to the file, select it and click open
4. Wait as the file is attached
5. Type an address to send it to, and you are good to go

To set the default HTML font:

1. In Internet Explorer, choose Tools ' Internet Options.
2. Click the Fonts button.
3. On the Web page font list, select the font you want to use as your default.
4. Click OK to return to Internet Explorer. Note that this change affects web pages, not just HTML mail messages.

If you don’t like the new format you can change it to old one by clicking <mail classic> right bellow your user name in the mail, top middle. You can also call them at this number: 408-349-1572 (note: this is for paid services only!)

Open Windows Mail
click on Create Mail
In the New Message window click on View
Click on Toolbars
Add a check mark next to Formatting Bar.

The Formatting bar should instantly appear.
