Euro-Pro EP91 Quad-Blade 6 Won't Start

Had the same problem. There is a tab on the lid that hits the handle when you turn to the locked position causing the lid not to fully engage the safety switch. Try lifting slightly on the lid near the handle of the bowl causing the tab to pass over the handle. It should only move a little bit causing the switch to engage. I not sure if this is suppose to there or a defect.
