Is there a replacement video card for the NVidia 8600 on HPDV9700

If your computer is a laptop then the video card is built into the motherboard and you have to change out motherboard if video card is bad.

When you look at the specifications for your system and you see an "M" after the video card number, RE: Nvidia 8600M .... The "M" means that the video is a chip and is soldered onto the motherboard and cannot therefore be changed without serious knowledge of micro soldering these connections. It takes specialized equipment. In most cases you are stuck with that chip on that particular motherboard.
