The screen on the printer does not have the menu...it has a strange code--83C00020. The power button does not turn the printer off. I have unplugged it and that doesn't solve the problem either. Is there a way to reset the printer?

- Thanks for the advice. Sorry to say, it hasn't solved the problem yet though. However, there is progress. The HP logo is now on the screen instead of a random code and the printer is re-booting...unfortunately, it has been for about 12 hours! I will try a few more ideas. thanks againSolution #1

Hi,
Lest try 2 things:
1. Unplug your printer and leave it for 10 sec before reconnecting the power chord.
Assuming that didn’t work:
A) Turn the printer off
B) Hold down the “Ok” button and the power button.
C) Keep pressing both buttons for 5 seconds and then release.
If the printer recovers, please come back and grade my advice J
