You did not specify an Operating System but I'm going to assume you are using Windows XP.
Click Start > Settings > Network Connections - Right click your Local Area Connection and select "properties".Select TCP/IP and click the properties button. Make sure that both "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" radio buttons are selected. Close both windows by clicking OK, then power cycle the router by unplugging it for 30 seconds. Windows should automatically assign a new IP address to your router.

All the ethernet ports light up and flicker when I plug in the power but the power and WLAN lights do not come on. This seems intermittant but it has been off for a long period of time this time.
