Canon Ink Tank problem

My Canon Pixma has a message on LCD screen "he following Ink Tank cannot be recognised" The tank is only a week or two old and has been working perfectly prevously.Do you have a solution to the problem ?

I had the same problem with the Cyan ink tank. Also, the last three ink cartridges have splattered ink all over when being opened. What a mess!

ı have the same problem on the yellow tank..ı took the tank out almost thousand times but it doesnt worked

Same problem on my MX700, yellow tank not found, I took it out and then replaced it... worked fine for two days then the same problem, now that doeant help anymore by taking it out... I guess I will have to buy a new tank, by the way the peinter is one month old and seldom used.
