camera display says card not initialized. how do i initialize a fujifilm 256 mb xd picture card?

The card needs to be "formatted" in the camera. This is found in the "setup" menu. It will wipe everything off the card, so if there's anything important on it now, save your data to a disk or hard drive. If there isn't anything important on it, perform the format and it will be like a new card. If this helped, please rate the solution favorably. Thanks
