Can you hear it "clicking" when you pull the knob (not the knob sound itself, but the water solenoid itself)?

If you can hear it, then make sure the machine has a water supply (hot / cold). You would be surprised at how many people accidentally turn off the water supply and forget about it.

Try changing the wash settings to cold/cold, etc (the opposite of whichever one you're using now) and see if it will fill.

Let me know the results, and I can help you further.

Washing Machine fills and then just stops. Won't agitate, drain, or spin.

There is a magnet that makes the washer work. The magnet is located on the lid. Defeating this safety feature will cause the washing mashing to not work properly. In order for the washing machine to function properly, a relatively strong magnet must be affixed to the lid so that it pulls the contacts together and allows the washer to run normally.

I pull the knob to do a regular wash and nothing happens, no water no agitation. However, when I turn the knob to rinse it that works. This suddenly happened, was working before. Is it the knob?

Rinse on most washers is cold water your wash cycles can be cold hot and even warm. Problem You may have is a bad water feed valve Or Timer and possible bad wire harness at motor to timer
check water valve Turn washer to regular wash cycle pull knob on will washer fill ?
if water starts to fill then change washer temp if washer has this.
if water comes out on all settings water valve is fine.
Check the water both hot and cold that it is turned on;at faucet.
Your Kenmore Most likely has a bad water valve check for hot water side clog or not working.

Not spinning

If its a front load, do you know about the clean out drain behind the lower front panel? Get ready with a bucket to catch all the water, lint, money and bobby pins coming at you. Under the door there is a panel, you will need a screw driver to get it off. Under that panel is a knob to unscrew a pull out.

Ariston a1124 knob keeps turning

My machine stopped before/on the spin cycle and the knob was going round and round. I pulled the machine out, emptied the water and the washing and got ready to strip the weights out so I could get it out of the house and to the tip. I tried Jason Harris's tip and so far so good! The machine appears to be working normally. I have it on an empty trial wash. What a star that man is ! Julie

What does SE mean ?

Hi, you need to drain the washing machine by removing the little door below the drum door and pull out the the hose with a white knob (beware alot of water comes out so have a couple of pans ready. the fault means that there may be a blockage in the debris filter (next to the outlet hose you just pulled out) am sure you have prob already discovered the fix by now though!

Take care

Fabric softener cup on Maytag Neptune washer is full of fabric softener after the cycle. Checked valves in output mode. Both the main and the bleach valve turn on and dispense water, but no water dispenses...

Hi. your problem is actually a rather complicated one.

Timer and selector switches The timer switch is usually the largest dial on the main control panel. It can be either a mechanical device much like a simple clock, or completely electronic with just a digital readout.

The timer runs the washing machine in a pre-determined pattern. It provides the electricity to all of the washing machine components at the correct time and for the correct length of time.

The Start switch is usually part of the timer knob. When you set the timer to the proper cycle, you either pull or push the timer knob to start the cycle.

The selector switches or knobs vary from machine to machine. Most washing machines have one or several switches or knobs on the control panel besides the Timer/Start switch. These let you adjust certain settings; for example, the water temperature, spin speed, timer cycle, and so on. Normally, the washing machine completes the cycle selected on the timer, regardless of how you set these switches and knobs.

The water is not getting picked up when the pump runs

sounds like you need to prime the pump manually:
Fill water tank.

Turn power on.

Open the steam knob all the way.

Press the coffee button.

Put a cup under the steam pump wand.

Wait until you see a steady flow of water and no air.

When you see the flow of water, close the steam knob.

Turn off the coffee button.

Now the machine should be ready to brew an espresso.

You might need to do this if you have not used your espresso machine for a few weeks or if it has been moved.
if that does not work contact the service center:
