The first thing to do is try plugging it directly to AC power other than a surge protector if you have one. Unplug it for 30 seconds to a minute or more, then plug it into the wall directly and attempt to power it on.

Also, this can happen if you are using a source signal connected through HDMI, as HDMI must autheticate with the television ever two seconds.

Have a tech replace the D board 1st if that doesn't solve the problem replace the P board 2nd. both of these boards require authorization to order so an authorized panasonic repair must do this repair.

Likely damage to main power supply-------try to see if there is a specific number of blinks then a pause and repeats like 7 blinks a pause and repeats---that is an error code if there---with it AND THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE TV I might be able or not to help.

IT TURN OFF ITSELF RIGHT AFTER TURN ON GREEN

Hi,
If the Lamp red light is blinking then replace lamp, replacement procedure is written in user manual and its easy.
If standby/ power red light is blinking then please count its blinking and post here. It is an error code that has info about problem in specific section of tv.
You will see 3 seconds long pause between blinks so count pause to pause.

A red light keeps blinking tv wont turn on.

I will need the model number of your set, and also how many times it blinks in between a pause if a pause is present as that could be a error code. Please reply to this same post.

Tv won't turn on-red blinking light

This is the most common death mode for TV's. The high voltage is acting up. You set is not quite 10 years old right? Can be fixed, but involves replacing the Flyback transformer which is not cheap. It is a toss-up as to whether it is worth putting the $200 or so it will cost to fix into a set that has limited expected lifetime.
