I was boiling a chicken on top in a pan, I heard a pop. The top had cracked! It is about 4 months old.

Smooth top stove? Cannot use aluminum or cast iron pans/pots! Replacement top $400-$500!

Probably not much you can do about that. In the future do not boil food on the refrigerator. I doubt the problem will be covered under warranty. Try cooking food on the stove when possible. :-) You may try sealing the crack with silicone.
