The revised cord is simply a ground wire just splice it to you ground wire and you can have the video playing while you are driving try not to watch it while your driving though
it is a yellow and blue cord i have this Sterio and soled the problem the same way i discribed if you want to be able to turn the screen off for any reason you can hook up a switch in the yellow and blue wire then run it to the ground wire

Im guessing since this is an in dash dvd player your trying to bypass the emergency brake so it will work with the vehicle in drive. If this is the case all you have to do is take the wire that goes to the emergency brake and ground it somewhere.

I have the dual dvd players. I lost the s-video connecting cord.

From what I can see in this product picture, the cable is a standard s-video connector, which you can buy online (here's a 6' one from amazon, and here's a 25' one if you want to put the wiring under the seats or something.)

You can also buy it at Wal-Mart or similar -- here's a product link there.

If this helps, please be sure to hit the "Thumbs Up" for me!

My iPOD touch doesn't work with the JVC dvd receiver kd-av7010

Most likely not, because the Ipod needs a USB 2.0 port, the JVC receiver you has most likely has an older USB port version. The cord should not make a difference.

Blue screen will not go away

The problem is that you're trying to bypass a safety feature. Newer video head units are smart enough to know when you've just grounded the brake switch wire so you can watch it while you're driving. Try hooking it up to your parking brake wire.
