my wireless xbox 360 controller keeps losing connection to my xbox , and now its not working at all!? what do i do?

I got two controllers doing the same thing. I have a battery pack andthe USB cord that you can plug in to controllers too. Neither batter pack (tried in a working controller to verify it was good) or USB works in the two controllers. Hope someone can help US!

if you have another wireless pad and that wont connect, its the rf board (on/off board)on the front of the xbox where the ring of light is has gone faulty.
if the second pad does connect you have a faulty controller. hopr this helps
