Right-click on an empty space on the task-bar (where all windows minimize) and select Task Manager.

In the Task Manager go to the Processes tab. Find "wmplayer.exe", single-click on it to select it and then press the End Process button.

Like this:




Note: If you cannot find "wmplayer.exe" then it is already closed.
