None of my Pioneer DEH-P3600 CD player's face

None of my Pioneer DEH-P3600 CD player's face plate controls work except the volume control. It will play CD's, and you can adjust the volume, but you can't change tracks. You can't turn the unit on and off either. You have to remove a CD to stop the sound. The radio and all of the other controls don't work, but I still get the clock displaying time. Is this a problem with a master security feature that can be reset? I have the manual, but can't see this covered anywhere.
