Question about Microsoft Xbox Console
I bought a used xbox and the person had xbox live on it now when i turn it on it tries to update it but i don't have xbox live acc and it does nothing when i hook it to the internet. it will not play any games it just stays on that screen. xbox help support cannot help me because i cannot read the info they need to reboot it any suggestions?

If you receive a connection error, try using the Xbox LIVE Connect Solution.
If her system says that she needs an update then likely her connection should be getting to Live. You might need to clear her cache first and then try the steps above. Here is how you will clear your cache:
To clear the system cache
(It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

You're Xbox 360 does not need a specific disc to update. When you log into Xbox Live, and your system needs an update, it will usually give you the choice to update, or not, but you don't need a disc to do so. To sign up for Xbox Live, access the Sign Up feature on your Xbox Dashboard. You can also sign up for Xbox Live at the following link http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/joinlive
Xbox Live does cost money.
