my wil 103 indesit wont pump out the water and the drum stops spinning quite quickly prior to spin, removed pump, guy at repairers says pump fine and it may be the board?
If you have a test meter, and feel competent to do this, then select a spin cycle, and having set the meter to mains A/C voltage, test across the 2 wires going to the pump, if you are getting a supply, then it should be reading approx 240 volts.
If no reading, then, yes it could be the board, or a broken or loose connection.
Another way to do it is to select a Drain only cycle if there is one, and you should hear the pump running.
If you can, and it is still not draining, then check the outlet hose for a possible blockage.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

My GE Front-Load Washing machine (no model name, newer one might be called Adora) is about 6 years old and recently it has started pausing itself midway through various cycles. The "pause" light is flashing, as though I pressed it, and it restarts when I press the button to unpause it. Very annoying because you expect the load is finished and discover it paused itself shortly after it started. Happens 1-3 x per wash cycle. I don't know if this is related, but I had no problems until about a month ago when I started a load and then all the lights flashed on the machine, door locked and then everything went dead. A few minutes later I was able to power on the machine and it seemed to work fine. It was not a power failure. Any advice would be much appreciated as I can't really afford a service call right now! Thank you.
