Screen got a quick white flash the goes blank everytime you press power button _ What caused that problem ?

Sounds like the cfl tubes are bad - they are
like a shop florescent tubes very small that could be 2 to 4 tubes but most
have just 2 - one on the top and one on the bottom that should also be replaced
with the inverter - like changing your oil - a filter is replaced when you
change your oil - this is not an easy task for the person that does not know
much about electronics but can be done by yourself for about $50.00. The tubes
last about 33,000 hours - on an average - 3 years but they could still go at any
time - here is a site that will give you more information on it and show you
how to do it yourself - keep in mind - your photo of the monitor may not be the
same but the idea is the same for most monitors - you can get the tubes elsewhere
for about $10.00 each not excluding shipping and they are very fragile - a
slight bend and the tube is broke. Here is the site that will give you more
information . They will have your tubes but you must take yours apart and
measure the tube - they will show you how to do this also.
