Error code 0020

hello again
i should of said has anyone sorted their xbox 360 with the error code 0020.
i had the three red lights but took my xbox appart and reseated the heatsinks fitted it together and all seamed fine until a week later and hey presto the three red light have reappeared with the error code 0020.
does the rubber trick help this code.

i have replaced my x clamps but now i am getting the error code 0002
does this mean that the solder has come loose on the internet connection socket.

At first my 360 gave the 0102 code,but now I get the 0020.What do I do,which code do I believe??My warranty is up and I am unsure as if it’s worth paying MS 140.00 to fix it.Especially since it’s an error on bad manufacturing,mine was manufactured 11/27/05.Anyway I need some advice on what to do.

a solution?!ok my suggest is throw away the fuckin' 360 'n buy a PS3.every time i fix that ***** another fuckin code appears.i've had 0102,0001,0020.0133!so the solution is fuckin' the fuckin' Bill Gates 'n all the microsoft./

Many people have. You need to replace the xclamp and make sure there's extra pressure (less than half a turn) on the front right corner of the GPU. You can read more about xclamp replacement here.

You should try replacing the network interface card, as it could be that or some fuse that got burnt. You can see a picture of where the interface card is here.

I forgot to mention, if you see that the solder has come loose on the internet connection socket, it's very likely it's that as the error code you got is one that means the problem's with the NIC.

remember guys microSHIT!!! have now extended the warranty on all 360's to 3 years cuz they now they have fucked up hope this helps so dont take any screws out or break any warranty stickers just yet.

after replacing the x-clamps i got E73 1012 error of ethernet port.i tried everything but i could not fix the problem plsssss give me a fix.
