Question about HP Deskjet F340 All-In-One Printer

HP Deskjet F340 All-in-One Printer

I am going literally nuts. Printer won't function. I've replaced the cartriage done every remeny I can think of. It is not the cartiages- they are not defected. An E lights stays on and a blinking red light. It was working fine,me, then just stopped. This is a fairly new machine. Should I just pitch it and go get another one. I'm soooooooooooooooo frustrated. Thanks Sarah Sanders

I would say the most likely cause of the issue is either that the printer is no longer functioning or that it is experiencing power issues. Make sure that the printer is plugged in directly to the wall and not into a surge protector or a power strip. The printer does not share power well and pulls it in large amounts - when it can't get it it throws little power fits and sometimes will not turn on at all.

Leave the printer on and then unplug and wait for 30 seconds and then plug in directly to the wall if it isn't already. Try a copy and see if that works.

My printer scans, copy but won't print from computer?

Did you set this printer as the default printer? To do this go to Start - Printer and Faxes, right click on HP printer, select Set As Default Printer. If you are not see your HP Deskject F340 there, that mean your printer driver is not installed. Please install your printer driver.
If you already set it as the default and it is still not printing. Restart your computer to try solve problem.
You said that printer scans so the connection between your computer and printer is fine. Problem is your computer doesn't take the printer as it's printer device yet.

I need a replacement installation disk for my printer its the hp deskjet f340

replacement disc can be obtained by contacting hp tech support(depends on ur warranty)

Can you use the HP 27 Ink Cartridge with the HP Deskjet F340?

No you cannot use Cartridge 27 with Hp Deskjet F340 printer. The printer only supports, 21 (black), 22 (color) and 58 (photo). I hope this clears your doubt.

I am unable to locate ink cartridges in HP Deskjet F340; where the heck are they? I have replacements to install. I know this sounds really stupid!

Deskjet printer cartridge problem - won't print

I was having the same problem and just posted it, went back to my printer, put the old cartriage back in and printed, I am taking the refilled cartriage back to walgreens where I had it filled and buying a new/hp cartriage to install.
