How is the tap water? Is the refrigerator causing the odor?. if so, Remove the water supply lineand drain the water out of it and put about a teaspoone of bleach into it. Hook the line back up and dispenesome water r. just enough to get the bleach into the filte and lines. Let sit for an hour , then dispense the water until the bleach is flushed out of the system. You might have to remove the filter before this flushing and repace it. You need to see what the filter is catching.Then call your water company if it it is also the tap water.
