The orbicam will not work

the orbicam will not work on my aspire 5052AWXMi - I am using Vista. If you open up the orbicam is just says no camera detected. I have looked to update the driver, removed and re-installed etc, but no joy. Many thanks

go to device manger, is there any recognition there and if so is there any yellow alerts in there?

its a built in camera so it cant be unplugged unless you open the notebook.
The camera has a "technical" problem in the chip wich it cant be solved with any driver. Accer wont help you or give an explanation about this.

WizIs the driver fits on Vista? If yes, try this one, remove the usb cable of your orbicam from the pc and then unstall the software and then restart the pc and then reinstall the software [note: do not plug the usb unless it ask you or do not plug it untill the installation finish. after that plugin the usb cord and wait untill the driver install by your pc automatically. Hope it help!
