Wiring ClarionDRX5575 Hi thanks for the diagram for wiring but I got a nother question .  I already have the plug to go in the back of the radio and I was wondering If is Ok to straight wire that plug to the bare wire's In my Camaro or do I need another plug of some sort to serve as a adapter. thanks for any help you can give me.

you can buy ready made wire loom connector for most radio/vehicle have a look online only a few $ makes a neater and more secure connection

Strongly recommend you buy a "snap on" Dodge - Kenwood adapter loom, from your local Auto Accessory store. This will save you cutting any wires, as these adapters are already pre-wired for plug and play and you can put your old radio back in at any stage.

Hello! The ALDL or On Board Diagnostic I (OBDI) connector is located under the dash on a 1993...And is different then the 94 you looked at...See diagram below...Is there a wire on "A" and "B"? "A" is a White/Black wire that changes to Black/White at the ALDL connector on pin "A"...and should read to ground..."B" is data and is Orange...These are the two wires that are shorted with a paper clip to get the trouble light to "blink" out a trouble code...I DO NOT see a connection between the fault that you have and the ALDL connector, Although the connector may be missing a wire (easily checked)...LETS SOLVE!!!

The problem appears to be be a lack of a connection to the Yellow ignition wire which could appear White...It's the ACC ignition power to the radio...Just because the lights are on doesn't mean the radio itself has power from the ignition...Also The Orange ignition wire (hot at all times) maintains memory to the radio...The White? wire out out the back of the radio appears to be the ignition wire...If there is already a Yellow wire connected to the radio plug that has 12 volts on it when the key is turned to ACC let me know...

Bottom line...Are there wires in both slots of the under dash ALDL connector??? And is there a splice into the Yellow ignition wire...SEND A COMMENT .saailer

One easy way to know which ones are the speaker wires is by using a double AA battery and connec one wire on any side of the battery and just tap the other side of the battery with a nother wire and when you find the right one you will hear the speaker make a sond keep doing this until you find all the speakers well I hop this helps.
