it uses a comunial fuse i would imagine it needs a new washer motor as its no doubt jammed up with corrosion ,but if its anything like a modern europeon vehicle then its inner wing off to get at it and in extreme case the front bumper as well

No need. Just plug it into your computer and put the camera in PLAY or VIEW mode. If you use Windows it will show up in "My Computer" as a removable drive or camera. A Mac should detect it too.
Then drag and drop your pictures from the camera to your computer.
