when i replace and upgrade my ecs p4vmm2 ram up to 1gb..first it enter os but when i restarting im stuck with checking nvram"..im done with re installing the usb wire, reseting cmos..unplugging cards, replacing new cmos battery..replacing power supply..but it still stuck with "checking nvram"..
Sounds as though your new RAM may not be compatible with the ECS.This is most certainly the case if the system boots correctly with the old RAM back in place. You may need to check the specs for this mobo on the EliteGroup website to find out what RAM is compatible.

- Is there some information you are not sharing in this thread? Does your Operating System load and run after the NVRAM check? Also after giving a little more thought, NVRAM does not mean the plug in sticks, but stands for Non-Volatile Ram, which is part of your motherboard. A missing or misplaced motherboard jumper could cause this. Another clue would be if the time resets each time you reboot. That would indicate a problem with the CMOS battery, or the jumper next to the battery.
