Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

Live account with no talking

My Xbox 360 live account works wirelessly to my Zyxel P-660HW T1 router but I can't talk to any other players. It says the NAT for my router is set to 'STRICT'. Is this what is stopping me speaking or is it something else? Anything I can do?

Did you happen to change your password to your msn account? Your password is always the same as your msn account. Try and think about what you may have changed within the time frame that you couldnt log in. You may have to talk to tech support on the xbox live site.

How do you connect to x box live

You can either plug in an ethernet cable from your router or modem to the back of your xbox 360 console or purchase the wireless adapter for the console and connect to your router using that, then use your windows live account ( if you already have one, if not create one) to connect to / create an xbox live account

My xbox 360 won't connect to xbox live as a wireless connection. i am with talk it was fine when i was a btinternet customer

You probably have to forward the proper port on the new router that gave you. Go to and look up your router for detailed instructions on how to accomplish this.

Xbox Live requires these ports to be open:
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)

For video chat on Kinect:
1863 (UDP and TCP)

I can not remeber the password code for xbox360 and we can't play some of the game. What can I do?

If you're talking about retreaving your xbox live account information contact customer support on the console itself.

If you're talking about an online pass for a videogame you can either download the online pass from the XBOX Live MarketPlace or Buy a new copy of hte game.

You dont have the password right for your wireless router, talk to the person who set up your router and ask them if they know what the password is.

Nat problems for xbox 360 live

If you`re using a router, you need to adjust a bit it`s settings. You should go to, select your router from the list, then, from the list of applications that will appear after selecting your router, choose XBox Live 360, and follow the instructions on that page. If you`re not using a router, you must talk with your service provider and tell them about your problem.

Xbox live stops working

It is a conflict with your router and modem. If you have a WRT54G linksys router and a Ae60 modem then this conflict will happen. To stop it, buy a new modem or router OR connect to XBox LIVE wirelessly using the XBox 360 wireless adapter ($100).

Xbox 360 live on wireless router

In theory you should be able to "share" your internet connection. I use a Linksys WRT54GS wireless router and I have a Linksys Game adapter on my son's 360. He has not complained about lag or slow server times unless other intensive bandwidth is being used.

Ip address failed

I think you need to ring your internet provider and they will enable xbox live from their side. Its fairly simple and they will know what your talking about.
