The cartridge bay goes crazy and slams both sides of the printer. Thus, this will not let me print. I was printing fine, and then I heard a slam, and a notification popped up sayin there was a problem with the printer. Both ink cartriges are properly secured. When I turn the printer on, or open the door as if I were to change the cartriges, the bay, goes back and forth and slams both sides.
Clean encoder strip, thin plastic strip runs width of machine pararell to silver scan rail. Ensure it is running threw carriage smoothly otherwise the light that read it is dodgy, this will be unecomical to fix unless dirty strip

- Excellent! In the workshop Recycled, poorly made and low quality ink is what I find most customers inkjets die from, no matter what brand. Cheapest way to print in colour is via quality laser printer ie Kyocera's but for now happy printing....

When I try to print I only get half of the letters. Usually the bottom half. Is there anything I can do to correct this. Can the rollers be cleaned and if so, how!
