I have a Sony Handycam Video8 camcorder model CCD-TRV112. The LCD screen is only showing white when in camera and player mode and does not show any date, time, counter, etc. displays. The picture comes through the eye piece. What are the likely causes of this?

I HAVE A RCA CC6262 CAMCORDER, IT IS ONLY SHOWING A WHITE SCREEN THROUGH THE EYE PIECE FOR ALL TYPES OF FEATURES EVEN WHILE TRYING TO VIEW VIDEO WITHIN, WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM
