Maybe the batteries need to be replaced, if that is not the problem try moving the transmitting device to a new spot and press the connect button. It is possible that the wireless system is defective and needs to be replaced. Depending on your version I believe that some had 1 yr, 3 yr and 5yr warranties. Check with Microsoft.
