One thing you can try is to remove the SIMMs installed, and reverse their locations. This is usually completely automatic but sometimes it messes up. If you have a lintless cloth wipe use it to clean the contacts as well. What are the acceptable memory configurations for this motherboard? If you pick wrong sockets it just will not work.
