Was told to increase dpi to enlarge text inside web pages

Click on the following, Start * *Control Panel* * Display* * settings* *Advance* * DPI settings* *OK* *OK* *OK* close drop down and chose a higher setting..

You may have to restart for it to take effect.

If you are using Internet Explorer there are 2 things you can do:

1) Click on View>Text Size. There are 5 settings. Select Larger or Largest.

2) Make sure your Status Bar is showing. Select View>Toolbars and make sure Status Bar has a checkmark. If not click it. Right above the taskbar clock there should be a little Zoom magnifying glass. If you click on the little arrow you can choose 50% to 400%.

If you are using 1024s768 reswolution, then your DPI should be about 96 for the correct textual visual settings.

Try getting it to 96 DPI with 1024x768 and see if you can read it without problems at that setting.
