Question about Dryers
I tried to start the dryer today and when I pressed the start button, it buzzed like it was done drying. I played with all the controls and I cannot get it to run. Any ideas?
I have found that the switch activated by the door close or turns on the interior light when open on is likely the problem. You may notice that if the door is open and you push on the start button, it will buzz. So if the door is closed and you get this buzz when pushing the start button, there is a problem with the door switch. The start button "thinks" the door is open, and therefore not start. The defective door switch needs to be replaced. At least highly likely.

Does the buzzing noise sound more like a hum, if so could be a bad motor or possibly something stuck in blower wheel.
