Every time i copy a dvd my laptop freeze and i got to take off the batterie out to shut it off i can t even log off the disk don t want to eject until i shut it off and restart

f you're told you can't eject a disk, try the following suggestions.
f you're trying to eject an external disk:
Choose Apple menu > Log Out, and then log in again. Try to eject the disk again.
If you still can't eject the disk, choose Apple menu > Shut Down. Disconnect the disk from your computer, and then start up your computer again.
If you're trying to eject a CD or DVD:
Choose Apple menu > Log Out, and then log in again. Try to eject the disc again.
If you still can't eject the CD or DVD, choose Apple menu > Restart. While your computer restarts, hold down the mouse button or trackpad button until the disc is ejected.
If you're trying to eject a network disk:
Choose Apple menu > Log Out, and then log in again. The network disk should be gone.

What type of password is it? What operating system?
If it's a BIOS password, you will have to:
-Shut down the notebook
-Disassemble the laptop, locate and remove the motherboard battery (looks like a small, flat, watch battery),
-Let it rest for 5 minutes.
-Replace battery, reassemble laptop and the password is gone!
If it's a Windows (assuming) password AND if it's XP, you can try logging on as "Administrator" with a blank password to see if that helps since you may not have one set for this account
If not, you will need to download and burn to DVD a copy of "Ophcrack", boot from the CD/DVD drive and let this Linux OS try to find your password for you.
Don't worry, it will not install anything over your hard disk drive.
Try these tips.....usually holding down the touchpad buttton while tapping the eject button during bootup works.

If you have Toast Titanium installed on your computer, choose EJECT DISC from the menubar. Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder Open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button. Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism. Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray. Restart the computer while holding down Command-Option-O-F, to enter the Open Firmware prompt. Type "eject cd" without the quotes, and press return. The disk ought to eject. To start into OS X, type "mac-boot" without the quotes. Press return, and the computer will continue with the startup. (This will not work on an Intel Mac. There is no Open Firmware on Intel Macs. ) If your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button.

If you want to get the dvd out
you can try this:
First turn of you dvd player at the mains,
Then power it up,
But the moment it powers up press the eject button a few times so it doesn't start to load.
If it doesn't work the first time try it one more time since you may not get the hang of it at first.
then you dvd should eject.
With dvd players like this, corrupt, copied or really scratched dvds may make your dvd player do this.

I found the biggest problem with using win dvd maker is when windows asks you to format the disk first. If you do format the disk first then win dvd maker has problems writing to it. Only put the disk in the drive when win dvd maker asks you to other wise you will be taken through to format the disk first and if you choose to cancel that it causes silly problems. If you are trying to make more than one copy of the same disk and win dvd maker is acting up, just do the one copy and then close the program. Then use a program such as nero and make copies from within there. You can insert the disk open Nero and select copy disk, you can do this until you have all of the copies that you need. Personally I found that win dvd maker is too slow and laborious.
HEY PUT A DISC TO COPY THEN SELECT COPY DVD OPTION AND SELECT NEXT DESELECT THE QUICK COPY NOTCH AND THEN CLICK NEXT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUHGH DISK SPACE WHWEN THIS PROCESS COMPLETES IT WILL ASK FOR THGE BLANK DVD INSERT THE DISK AND WAIT DON T CLICK ANY THING WHEN THE CD EJECTS IT FINISH BY ITSELF
