We had the same problem. Luckily, we had a service contract, so it was serviced yesterday. The fix involved the service guy going through a "service menu" and resetting the TV that way. He was not "allowed" to tell me how I can access the service menu, however. I do plan to research this on the internet in case it happens in the future. It is basically a software/computer problem, and unplugging the TV isn't enough to clear it unless the TV is unplugged for "a long time." The technician said the length of time depends on the condition of your capacitors. Anyway, as a temporary fix, he showed me that you can go into the PIP mode. The device toggle for PIP apparently did still work with mine, so I was able to switch the device on the secondary picture and then switch it to primary, then toggle the PIP off. Good luck!

Me again. I found the instructions for getting to the service menu on line: 1. Press TV Menu and then 1, 2, 3 to see the RESET SERVICE MENU to reset the TV. 2. Select Reset System defaults (CAUTION: All settings, except V-Chip, will be reset to the original factory defaults). Hope this works for you.

Theatre projector is unable to switch inputs in menu

This is worth a try: Turn everything OFF. Unplug all the inputs from the projector and turn them off too. Next, turn the projector ON and all the input devices ON. Then, one by one plug each input device (already turned ON) into the projector. See if this helps. I have a SONY monitor that supports multiple inputs and a few times this has worked.
Good luck.

Msi tv out

If the TV has a VGA port, then you can connect the U100 directly to the TV. Otherwise, you will need a converter depending on the inputs of the TV.

In the case of a VGA port on the TV, turn off the TV and the netbook before connecting the two devices. Then turn on the TV and set it to the VGA input. Then turn on the computer. The monitor should be recognized when the OS boots up. You can press <Fn>+<F2> to force the communication. In the Display properties (right click on the desktop), you should be able to change the display mode.

For composite video, the converter option uses devices like these: http://www.ramelectronics.net/audio-video/video-converters/vga-rgb-hv-to-composite-video/c10000-c11200-c11213-p1.html . Again turn off all devices before connecting them and turn on the computer last. If a TV has only an RF (antenna) input, you can connect the VGA to composite converter to an RF modulator. However, signal losses may degrade the video.

I hope this helps.

Which button on the remote control is for switching from TV to AV (VCR)?

The TV/Video button on the original remote for the KDL-26S2000 should let you cycle through the inputs on the TV. This button is at the upper left of the remote. (However, if you have set the system to Skip inputs, you may need to remove the skip option.)

There is also a TV/Video button on the front of the TV. It's the second button from the left on the panel (it's just to the right of the menu button).

To reset the input list, press Menu and navigate to Settings. Select the Setup sub-menu and then select the Label Video Inputs. Give the input any label other than skip.

Some TVs work best if the TV is turned on and set to that input source before you turn on the source device.

For additional information and pictures of the menus, see the manual. It is available from Sony support: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=KDL26S2000&template_id=1&region_id=1&tab=manuals#/manualsTab (see the Manuals, Specs and Warranty tab). The direct link to the manual is http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KDL40S2000.pdf .
I hope this helps.

Distorted sound from the Soundbar.

Change the Trim Level switch setting to a higher number.
Check the signal source to be sure the distortion is not originating there. <<<<<<<<<

The woofer seems to have interference with its wireless signal.

Try changing settings of the Wireless ID switches on both the soundbar and bass unit. <<<<<<<<
The bass unit could be too far from the soundbar to get a good signal. Try moving it closer.

What is the source device that results in static? How is it connected?

No picture from monitor out on Onkyo TX-DS898

I realize you may have already doubled checked but make sure you follow this from the manual:
If the satellite tuner / cable box is equipped with an S video output
terminal, connect it to the S VIDEO 3 (or 4) IN terminal with an S
video cable. If it does not have an S video output terminal, connect
its video output terminal to the VIDEO 3 (or 4) IN terminal using an
RCA-type video connection cable. You do not need to connect to
both the S VIDEO 3 (or 4) IN and VIDEO 3 (or 4) IN terminals. If
the satellite tuner or television has component video outputs,
connect them to one of the COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT jacks.
With the initial settings of the TX-DS898, the VIDEO 3 and
VIDEO 4 input sources are set for the COMPONENT VIDEO
INPUT 2 jack.
If the video connection is made at COMPONENT VIDEO INPUT
1, this must be changed at the Setup menu: Input Setup → Video
Setup → Component Video (see page 35).
Using an RCA-type audio connection cable, connect the audio
output terminal on the satellite tuner or television to the same
VIDEO 3 (or 4) IN audio jacks on the TX-DS898. Make sure that
you properly connect the left channel to the L jack and the right
channel to the R jack.
If the device has a digital output jack as well, be sure to also connect
it to either a DIGITAL INPUT (COAXIAL) or DIGITAL INPUT
(OPTICAL) jack on the TX-DS898 depending on the device.
With the initial settings of the TX-DS898, the VIDEO 3 input source
is set for digital input at the OPTICAL 3 jack, and the VIDEO 4
input source is set for digital input at the OPTICAL 4 jack.
If the digital connection is made at a different jack, this must be changed
at the Setup menu: Input Setup → Digital Setup (see page 33).

Try pressing input on your remote and make sure the source is selected to what you have it plagged in. For example cable box plugged into hdmi1 set input to hdmi 1. Also can you access tv setup at all? If not your tv might be bad to begin with.
