Remove the clutch cover, bar, and chain. Inspect the drive sprocket is it deeply gouged or perhaps worn through? That can cause this problem. The most likely cause of this problem is incorrect chain installation or a badly burred chain. The chain will have burrs on the drive links of the chain and may not fit the groove in your bar. If true use a flat file on the side of the drive links and remove all burrs. Chain adjustment
Make sure the chain brake is off (gloves will protest your fingers).
If necessary, loosen the bar nuts that are clamping the clutch cover in place (or whatever holds the clutch cover and bar on). They don't need these really loose - finger tight will do.
Ease the tension adjustment until the chain is obviously loose.
Using one hand, hold the nose of the bar up.
While holding the nose up, adjust the tensioner so that the center of the chain just touches the underside of the bar, add a touch more.
Continue holding the nose of the bar up & tighten up the bar nuts / bolts / quick-release system.
Your saw is equipped with a "Chain Catcher". That is what causes the burrs. Without the catcher it would have been your leg. Were you wearing chaps? HTH Lou

- Mark one link of the chain with anything, with the brake off and wearing gloves rotate the chain one complete revolution on the bar. Any burrs on the drive links will be evident.

I own a McCullogh 610 Pro mac chain saw. Why does it sound like it is choked when the choke is off? With the choke off, it has no power. The blade will stop while trying to cut a log.

I had water in my hydraulic fluid in my Komatsu D39P dozer. I opened the drain plug, drained the resevoir and pumped as much of the contaiminated fluid as I could out through the filer port. I refilled the system through the resevoir and bled the cylinders through the line connections until clear hydraulic fluid was coming out.
The fluid is now clear, the reservoir is full but the machine will not push or engage the tracks properly. It acts like an air/vapor lock either in the transmission or torque converter. I was told this was a self bleeding system, but how do I get the air out? There are bleeders near one of the filters and I've tried that. I don't have a manual. Is there a sequence for bleeding this system?
