Actually all the hours are military time. They are the same for the first twelve hours of the day. If you go through the setting procedure it will ask you if you want "12" or "24" hour time. Select 12. "24" is military

The owner's manual that was sold with it should guide you. If it's missing, get a good hand-lens. Take the watch under a good source of light, and aim the hand-lens to the edges of the watch. You should see 12/24hr button. Press the button once. The time should change from military. If it doesn't , press and hold the shortest button for about 5-seconds. Then press the button that is marked 12/24HR.

The indiglo technology is time limited (it dims over the years with use) and cannot be repaired - have you had the watch a long time? if so, I'm afraid it's time to get a new one. Sorry!

I had the same problem, and could not find any answers on timex.com. After you place the battery in and it begins to beep, push all four buttons in at the same time. This should "reset" the watch -- at least it did for me.

If your set up is: Top-Left=Indiglo Top-Right=St./Stop Bottom-Left=Mode Bottom-Right=Lap/Reset

Than follow these steps:
1. Press Lap/Reset and hold. You should see the time the alarm was set for.
2. While holding Lap/Reset, press Mode.
3. Let go of all buttons.
4. There you go!
