Problem for HP PSC 2355 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a HP computer with XP and a PSC2355 HP
I have a HP computer with XP and a PSC2355 HP printer. My software that came with the printer does not reconize the printer. It says no HP product installed. Microsoft will reconize both the printer and scanner, so I know that my connections are ok. I have tried to download new drivers, but it says that I have the latest ones. I have done a clean uninstall for the software but when I tried to reinstall it I get a message that says you have a later version already installed on your computer, and just turn in on. Nothing seems to help. Thanks for your time.

Is this a USB connection? Did you plug it in before you installed the drivers? If so then the registry keys will have been modified. You will either have to google which one to change back or run system restore which should do the same thing
