Paper stuck in the printer because of dead camera battery

I have a cannon selphy and was printing a photo and the battery died....and the paper is jammed in the middle of the magenta pass...and will not come out! We changed the battery, tried to re-start, tried to cancel, but the paper is still stuck and printer will not respond...HELP!

Been there before. There is no easy way to do this however you can call canon and there is a reset switch pattern that will rest the memory in the machine and run a self test at start up this may help
