Yes, a qualified technician can remove the U-shaped "covers" over the hinge, and then use a small crescent-wrench to tighten the hinges.
Less than 30 minutes of "work"; probably less than $30 to get it done "safely" by an "expert".
This is a manufacturing problem!
Also many people have problems with their keyboards now a days!
I suggest you take it back to the store you bought it from and let them replace or fix problem by getting you and installing new hinges for you.

Can't get the battery out of my Toshiba Satellite A105 S4164. It stopped charging so I ordered a new one but can't get the old one out and don't want to break it. Any ideas? Thanks!

I've had my Satellite A215 for a little over two years and I've never really had any problems until now.For the past couple of days my laptop will be plugged in, but it will suddenly stop charging and the battery light will start blinking orange and the power light will turn a wierd blueish orange color. If I mess with power cord for about half an hour (unplugging it from the laptop, then the outlet, then disconnecting the cord from the power brick, etc.) it will eventually start to charge again and the lights will go back to normal. Do I need a new battery or a power cord, or both?
