check the door switch. if the machine think the door is open, it will not start.
just locate the switch that the door would normally hit when you close it. operate it a few times with your finger. you should feel or hear a click when the switch closes. if you don't, the switch will need replaced.
other than that your timer is suspect. it is much more expensive to replace. good luck
