Question about Cell Phones
Sony ericsson z310a I bought a USB data cable, and all I did was go to the ericsson web site to check if there were any upgrades for my phone. There were none. I turned the phone off, and back on.....Now all I get is a screen that wants me to enter "phone lock code"....I never entered one!! I've tried the defaults (0000,1111,12345) and it just says "wrong code" Ericsson wants me to send in the phone to have it "flashed", and I have seen different things on the web that will allow me to "unlock" the phone....but I'm not interested in "unlocking" the phone. I just want to figure out what the "phone lock code" is. No PUK errors, just this dumb "phone lock code". Again, I never entered a code to begin with, and it only happened after checking for software updates from the official Ericsson web site
Hi roocango, theres not much we can do just from here, without being physically there.
However, I have contacted Sony, and the default password is 0000
If that doesnt work, which by reading your posts, it doesnt.
You may have connected your phone, then went to update it, but only updated it partly. A security feature for sony, is to lock up the phone when someone, or something tries to change the phone's OS, or other parts of the phone.
So either you've changed the password by accident, or this is the case.
Again, you will probally have to either, get the program to reset your phone, or goto the dealer. IGoogle will have many links to the software you may be looking for.
Good luck, hope this sheds some light on this matter.

It is the master security code, if you never changed it it should be the default in the manual.
Sony will recommend you flash it cause they might think the os is messed up, You can have the same thing done by your local phone dealer. It involves using a cable and special software or devices. if you are ufamilair with such or you cant get the default code to work you might need to take it to a phone dealer.
Did you try changing your sim card ?
