Is your warranty still in effect? If not try lighting the oven while well vented and use a long BBQ lighter to ignite it at the insert where the coil comes into the oven. Always light the match first and then turn on the gas. If this doesn't work immediately turn off the gas! I suspect that you have a delay in the gas supply. Genn air usually is good about repairs so you may call them and tell them what you tried and that you have a defective part that could be lethal and that they need to send someone at their charge to fix it to avoid litigation in the chances that the oven is defective.
Your thermocouple is probably failing, this should be addressed as soon as possible. Make sure the pilot flame is almost contacting the probe tip of the thermocouple. If it is not than it should be cleaned or adjusted. Thank you, Dana

Hello, We have a Jenn Air Range that uses Propane. The burns have started to pop and go off and then need to be restarted. Is this a sign that the burners need cleaning or is there another issue I am not aware of? Thank you for your time.
