I downloaded IE8 and now I cannot get into some

I tried to post a solution, but I don't think it actually posted.
You may have your security settings set too high in Internet Explorer. You can reset them by clicking on the tools menu item and selecting options and then the security tab. Change the settings to default.
Another suggestion: Download Firefox and use it as your internet browser. I use it here.
You can get it at www.mozilla.com. Click on the link to download the program. Then install it. Your problems may very well go away if you use Firefox.
